The Mapa Glass bowl is designed by Regina Medeiros, a Brazilian glass artist based in Belo Horizonte.
All of Regina’s designs are manufactured by hand at her glass art studio Keramos. Starting from a masterpiece in ceramic, the glass is cut and formed by hand. The glass pieces are coloured with oxides, natural mica minerals and gold components. After heating the glass object, the glass melts and takes the shape of the ceramic masterpiece. Due to the artisanal manufacturing method, slight colour changes can occur, constituting the unique charm of handmade products. Every piece is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Regina Medeiros products are strictly for indoor use and for decorative purposes only.
